In Brazil, St. John's day is part of the celebrations called Festas Juninas.
From north to south of the country, the festivities take place around a fire pit in places decorated with colorful flags, people dress in typical clothes, dance Quadrilha, and eat a variety of delicious typical foods.
The Corn cake is one of our favorites!
Because of the covid-19 pandemic, this year, as well as last year, Festas Juninas could not be celebrated.
But that doesn't mean we cannot eat a corn cake!..
And the table was decorated with a special tablecloth, with the typical colorful flags.
Simple, cute and delicious!
Love, Sisters
